We initiated the first combination of oats with cacao in an artisanal Swedish chocolate bar. Our oat chocolate with liquorice is a creamy dairy free vegan chocolate sprinkled with sea salt and liquorice granulate. The Nordic, gluten free and organic oats are milled inhouse.
The chocolate contains 20% less sugar compared to traditional milk chocolate and has a sweet and mild flavour with a smooth consistency which contrasts with the salty, crunchy liquorice. Our chocolate is sustainably made in Umeå, northern Sweden, where the cacao beans are slow-roasted and stone ground. The cacao is purchased from cooperatives in Ecuador and Peru where we have established personal collaborations.
